Adoptions at Gladney
Throughout its history, Gladney has recognized and embraced the changing needs of society and the shifting landscape of the adoption process. As a result, Gladney is an agency with global reach and impact. Since 1992, we’ve been Creating Bright Futures Around the World with our Intercountry Adoption Programs, placing thousands of babies and children in homes throughout the United States
Adopting internationally is an exciting, enriching experience that offers travel abroad, the opportunity to learn about different cultures and customs, and the ability to assist in humanitarian aid efforts. Most importantly, of course, adopting internationally is about the joy of bringing a child home.
Hague Accreditation
As a leader in intercountry adoption, the Gladney Center proudly became among the first agencies accredited in the U.S. as a Hague-compliant adoption agency. The Hague Convention protects children and their families against the risk of unregulated adoptions abroad and ensures that intercountry adoptions are made in the best interests of the children. The Convention also protects against unethical, unlawful and inhumane adoption practices.
