Once prospective families are ready to start their China International Adoption Process with Gladney, they will complete their adoption paperwork:

• Gladney Application
• Adoption Home Study
• Dossier (Gladney recommends KBS Dossiers.)

The adoption process in China is managed by a central authority, the China Center of Adoption Affairs (CCAA). Accredited agencies in the United States work directly with CCAA to help you create your family through adoption.

Our China program staff will lead you through the process of putting together the documents required by the different authorities.

Once your dossier is officially received by CCAA, you will receive a referral for the child that has been matched to you. The time between China receiving your dossier and receiving a referral continues to change. Please speak to a Gladney representative to find out current time frames.
