Kids love Camp!  Here are some great resources for camps that are especially designed for children that have been adopted or are in foster care. 

Royal Family Kamp at (www.kidsarmorofhope.org).  The dates for this summer are June 17-22 and July 22-27. Royal Family Kids Camp serves those living in Hood, Somerville and Johnson counties first and then will accept children from other counties.

Castle Peak Adoptive and Foster Family Camp

This camp is at Horn Creek Family Camp in Colorado from August 5-11. This camp has already gone to wait list.  The camp director asked that I still encourage people to get on the wait list because there are discussions of adding more weeks in the future.  This camp offers FREE child registration if you have had placement or finalized your adoption within the last year!!
