Krystin, for most of her life, has never truly known what the love of a family feels like.  Her parents couldn’t support her and she has lived in too many foster homes to keep count.

Just months before her 18th birthday, when it looked like she would be on her own forever, she found love in an adoptive family -- a mom, a dad, and a brother.  Krystin finally found a place to call home.

Hi, I am Gunnar and I will be telling you about my past and how I was adopted. I was adopted because my biological mother did not take good care of my two sisters and me. She did not have any money, we didn't have any clothes, she did not have a house, she did not have a car, and we did not have any toys. It was hard for the three of us. Then she got a divorce from my biological dad. They lied to us a lot and it was not fun.
